You match colors, fabrics,
textures of your primary items of clothing -- including
skirt, blouse, dress, shoes, jewelry -- to build a
consistent packaged image. You avoid looking sloppy chaotic.
You coordinate accessories with each other and make sure
that they go well with your outfits and overall appearance.
You dress appropriately for
specific occasions, including work, friend's homes, parties,
movies, spectator sports, lunch, dinner, and so on.
You are doing well and making
yourself look good.
Don't get confused or let the
masses who fail to look put together tell you that you are
not cool. Yours is a good minority to be in.
You are not alone. There are
many of us who care enough to match our clothes,
accessories, and shoes.
It sounds like you care about
how you look. So do many others... including most of us
sitting right here. We care how we look even though we are
sitting in meetings and answering questions working
together.
