What hose or tights, please?
I have a dark purple (eggplant) cocktail dress to wear for New Year's Eve and black beaded dress shoes.

What color hose should I wear? The dress is short, I'm tall & my legs are on the heavy side. I'm in my 40's.

I was thinking of wearing black sheer hose. Would that be appropriate?

Alice & I believe that black opaque hose or tights would be better.
