Can anyone help with my ongoing fashion dilemma?
I have an ongoing fashion dilemma.

I'm 44 years old, but look much younger (about 35), very petite, I'm 5-2", 98 lbs., fit and healthy, single, with no kids and I don't know what to wear anymore!

Junior sizes (XS, 1-3) fit me best, but of course it's reached the point where often the junior clothes are too youthful to be age-appropriate.

I end up under-dressing all time in comfortable clothes.

I want to step up my wardrobe, but don't know where to shop to find clothes that will fit me and most importantly be affordable. I'm on a tight budget.

I have found that department store petites are so ultra conservative and are cut for heavier petite women not slim ones.

I'm looking for modern, sexy and youthful -- but not TOO youthful.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks.

You can find more mature and work appropriate clothes at shops for young people.

You won't look like you got dressed in the juniors department, but the cuts are more for a small frame like yours.

Try The Limited, Bebe (expensive, tho) Banana Republic or the Petite section at Ann Taylor Loft for clothes that are hip but cut for you.
