Is it too early to wear a Brooks Brothers khaki poplin suit?

In a still-cold and wintry place such as Chicago in March, it would be too early. But in California, a poplin suit will be fine.

You will look dressed appropriately and dressed well. Even if it is a dress-down Cal conference, it is best to be dressed for business.
