Our personal choice is for  somewhat larger --- maybe even slightly too large -- look.

Yet we know some people of both genders who prefer the tight look.

It is most important to select shirts that you are comfortable in, that you consider attractive, and that you believe make you appear the way that you want to be perceived by friends and coworkers.

Whether or not a specific shirt fits those requirements is most important.

If it is a well-made shirt, fits the occasion, and makes you feel good about yourself, that is a shirt to purchase and wear on appropriate occasions.

Most of the time, a pleasant personality will override a slightly not-perfect fit.
